Weitere Details:: This gene encodes a tumor suppressor protein that includes among its many intracellular functions one of nuclear export. Defects in this gene cause familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), an autosomal dominant pre-malignant disease that usually progresses to malignancy. Disease-associated mutations tend to be clustered in a small region designated the mutation cluster region (MCR) and result in a truncated protein product. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:5,000 Immunoflurorescence: 1:100-1:1,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
