Weitere Details:: ADAM-17, which is also known as CD156b, is expressed in a wide range of cells in culture. Its biological role is to convert the transmembrane trimeric form of TNF alpha to the soluble form. CD156 is also reported to process a number of other proteins, including L-selectin and TNF p75 receptor. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. m Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
