Weitere Details:: Activins belong to the TGF-beta superfamily. They are homo- or heterodimers of activin beta subunits. At least four mammalian beta subunits, A, B, C, and E, have been described. The beta c subunit homodimerizes to form Activin CC. A naturally occuring Activin AC heterodimer has also been reported. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
