Weitere Details:: ATP binding cassette (ABC) transporters are a large family of conserved proteins that translocate molecules across cellular membranes. ABCA2 is a 250kD member of the ABCA subfamily, which is predominantly expressed in the central nervous system, ovary and macrophages. The ABCA2 molecule shares homology with ABCA1 and ABCA7 and plays an important role in lipid metabolism. ABCA2 has been associated with Alzheimer's disease, and studies suggest that ABCA2 could also be involved in drug transport and resistance of tumors to chemotherapy. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
