Weitere Details:: PEX3 is involved in peroxisome biosynthesis and integrity. It assembles membrane vesicles before the matrix proteins are translocated. As a docking factor for PEX19, PEX3 is necessary for the import of peroxisomal membrane proteins in the peroxisomes. Thus within the cell, PEX3 is stabilized by PEX19 preventing PEX3 aggregation. Mutations in the PEX19-binding domain of PEX3 reduce the affinity for PEX19 and destabilize PEX3. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 4ug/ml Immunofluorescence: 20ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
