Weitere Details:: PKA (protein kinase A), also known as cAMP-dependent protein kinase, phosphorylates serine or threonine residues in target protein in response to elevated levels of cAMP. Inactive PKA exists as a tetrameric protein composed of two regulatory (R) subunits and two catalytic (C) subunits. Activation occurs when two cAMP molecules bind to each R subunit which causes a conformational change that releases the active C subunits. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000, Colorimetric Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
