- Weitere Details:
- MDA5 is a highly conserved helicase whose ATPase activity can be stimulated by RNA and less potently by DNA. It contains two N-terminal CARD domains and a C-terminal helicase domain. The helicase domain, once freed from the CARD domains, then translocates from the cytoplasm to the nucleus where it acts on chromatin architecture. This could allow easier access of CAD, thereby accelerating the degradation of genomic DNA. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot (ECL): 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
