Weitere Details:: PCBP-1 and PCBP-2 have paralogues (PCBP3 and PCBP4) which are thought to have arisen as a result of duplication events of entire genes. PCBP1 constitutes a set of polypeptides that contribute to mRNA transcription, pre-mRNA processing as well as mature mRNA transport to the cytoplasm and translation. It has also been implicated in translational control of the 15-lipoxygenase mRNA, human Papilloma virus type 16 L2 mRNA, and hepatitis A virus RNA. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
