- PBX1 binds the sequence 5'-ATCAATCAA-3'. It acts as a transcriptional activator of PF4 in complex with MEIS1. It may be converted into a potent transcriptional activator by the (1;19) translocation. It also may have a role in steroidogenesis and, subsequently, sexual development and differentiation. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
