- NEUROD6 contains 1 basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) domain. It activates E box-dependent transcription in collaboration with TCF3/E47 and may be a trans-acting factor involved in the development and maintenance of the mammalian nervous system. It transactivates the promoter of its own gene.NEUROD6 is a member of the NEUROD (NEUROD1; MIM 601724) family of basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factors (Guo et al., 2002 [PubMed 12357074]).[supplied by OMIM]. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
