Weitere Details:: NPAS4 belongs to the Per-Arnt-Sim family of neuronal specific transciption factors, all involved in the development and maintenance of learning and memory pathways (1). NPAS4 is a transcription factor that regulates the formation and maintenance of inhibitory synapses, and can activate the CNS midline enhancer element and the expression of the drebrin gene. Deregulation has been to be associated with developmental disorders such as schizophrenia and autism (2). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
