Weitere Details:: The GABA-A receptor is a member of the superfamily of fast acting ligand-gated ion channels. The individual subunits of these receptors have similar sequences and structural features (1). GABA-A receptors are the major fast inhibitory neurotransmitter gated ion channels in the brain (2). GABA-A Receptor Alpha 4 is associated with epilepsy (3), and research suggests that alterations in GABA- A Receptors subtypes may be involved in the resistance to antiepileptic drugs (4). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
