Weitere Details:: IL-8 is an interleukin (chemokine) produced by macrophages and other cell types such as epithelial cells. It is also synthesized by endothelial cells, which store IL-8 in their storage vesicles, the Weibel-Palade bodies. In humans, the interleukin-8 protein is encoded by the IL8 gene. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 10ug/ml, used in ELISA as solid phase antibody. ELISA sensitivity 90% hIL-8 in solution using a double-antibody method Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
