Weitere Details:: Bacillus anthracis is a Gram-positive spore-forming, rod-shaped bacterium, with a width of 1-1.2um and a length of 3-5um. It can be grown in an ordinary nutrient medium under aerobic or anaerobic conditions. It is the only bacterium known to synthesize a protein capsule (D-glutamate), and the only pathogenic bacterium to carry its own adenylyl cyclase virulence factor (edema factor). The lethal factor is one of three protein components of the bacillus anthracis toxin. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
