Weitere Details:: This antibody is directed against the transferrin receptor (CD71), the 95kD, type II membrane glycoprotein. CD71 is expressed on activated, but not resting lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, most dividing cells and on brain endothelium, and is upregulated during response to antigens and/or mitogens. The transferrin receptor binds Fe(Apo)-transferrin and via endocytosis and delivers iron required by the growing cell for cellular metabolism. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5ul is sufficient for staining of 1 million cells in a 100ul staining volume or 100ul of whole blood Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
