- CD20, a 33-36kD non-glycosylated type 1 transmembrane protein, is expressed by developing, resting and mature B cells, some follicular dendritic cells, and a small subset of mature T cells. B cell CD20 expression is lost upon differentiation into plasma cells. Functionally, CD20 activation contributes to B cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5ul is sufficient for staining 1 million cells in a 100ul staining volume or 100ul of whole blood Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
