Weitere Details:: F.columnare is a yellow-pigmented filamentous Gram-negative bacterium and the causative agent of Columnaris disease, one of the most important bacterial diseases of freshwater fish. Columnaris disease is characterized as an acute to chronic infection of the gills, oropharynx, and skin with a high level of mortality (50-90%) in salmonid and non-salmonid species. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1:1000 ELISA: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
