Weitere Details:: Recombinant monoclonal antibody toTNF alpha with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the hybridoma CDP 571 (Humicade). This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original human IgG4 format. Manufactured using a proprietary recombinant platform technology. Not for therapeutic use; this is a research grade biosimilar. TNF-alpha is a pro-inflammatory cytokine which stimulates release of other cytiokines e.g. IL-1, IL-6 and GM-CSF as well as secretion of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 from endothelial cells. It stimulates acute phase responses and acts as a chemoattractant for NK cells and monocytes/macrophages. The antibody reached Phase II clinical trials with Celltech, UCB. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Neutralization. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
