- This gene encodes a member of the plexin class of proteins. The encoded protein is a class 3 semaphorin receptor, and may be involved in cytoskeletal remodeling and as well as apoptosis. Studies of a similar gene in zebrafish suggest that it is important for axon pathfinding in the developing nervous system. This gene may be associated with tumor progression. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:2000-1:10,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:30-1:150 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
