- HIPK4 (Homeodomain-interacting protein kinase 4) is a 616aa protein that localizes to the cytoplasm and exists as two isoforms that are produced by alternative splicing events. Like other members of the HIPK family, HIPK4 functions as a protein kinase that catalyzes the ATP-dependent phosphorylation of target proteins and is thought to act as a corepressor of target transcription factors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000-1:5000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
