Weitere Details:: Atypical kinase involved in the biosynthesis of coenzyme Q, also named ubiquinone, an essential lipid-soluble electron transporter for aerobic cellular respiration . Its substrate specificity is unclear: either acts as protein kinase that phosphorylates other proteins in the CoQ complex to stabilize their interactions or acts as a small molecule kinase that phosphorylates a prenyl lipid in the ubiquinone biosynthesis pathway. Shows an unusual selectivity for binding ADP over ATP. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
