Weitere Details:: A number of a disintegrin and metalloprotease (ADAM) family members are expressed in mammalian male reproductive organs such as testis and epididymis. The cDNA sequence of ADAM32 has an open reading frame which encodes 750 (mouse ADAM32) and 787 (human ADAM32) amino acids, sharing 69% homology between the two species. Comparison of amino acid sequences showed that ADAM32 is highly homologous to ADAM2 and ADAM3, sperm surface proteins required for fertilization. We found that the ADAM32 gene is expressed predominantly in the testis. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000-1:2000 Western Blot: 1:200-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:15-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
