Weitere Details:: Rapid clearing of apoptotic cells by phagocytes may prevent tissue damage. Studies show that ICAM-3 (also known as CD50), expressed on leukocytes, interacts with macrophages during apoptotic cell clearing (Torr et al., 2012). ICAM-3 plays an important role in the recruitment and tethering of macrophages during the process of clearing apoptotic human leukocytes, and ICAM-3 deficient cells have reduced clearance of apoptotic cells by phagocytes. 301678 has been shown to block the interaction of apoptotic leukocytes with macrophages/phagocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
