Weitere Details:: Hemojuvelin (HJV) belongs to the repulsive guidance molecule (RGM) family. HJV is highly expressed in the liver, skeletal muscle and heart and seems to play a role in iron absorption and release from cells. Defects in HJV are responsible for the iron overload condition known as juvenile hemochromatosis in humans. HJV is a co-receptor for bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling that regulates hepcidin expression and iron metabolism. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
