- Cyclin E2 is a novel gene that encodes a protein, which is elevated in cells expressing a papilloma viral oncogene. Cyclin E1 and cyclin E2 can associate with and activate CDK2 whose activity is restricted to the G1-S phase of the cell cycle, and is essential for the G1/S transition. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
