Weitere Details:: Insulin is a hormone of intermediate metabolism present throughout the body. This hormone is involved in carbohydrate, protein, and lipid metabolism. Insulin enhances membrane transport of glucose, amino acids, and certain ions. It also promotes glycogen storage, formation of triglycerides and synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids. Deficiency of insulin results in diabetes mellitus. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:1000 (PBS, 0.3% Triton X-100- Cy3 Technique) Immunohistochemistry: 1:3000-1:5000 (PBS, 0.3% Triton X-100- biotin/avidin-HRP Technique) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
