Weitere Details:: Cited-2 is a 270 amino acid protein that functions by binding to the CH1 region of CREB binding protein (CBP)/p300. This binding interferes with certain transcription factors like HIF1 alpha and STAT2 blocking their ability to bind and interact with CBP/p300. Cited-2 knockout mice die due to defects in heart and neural tube development. Mutations in Cited-2 have been reported in patients with congenital heart defects. It appears Cited-2 modulates apoptosis by a p53 independent pathway whereby the details still need to be elucidated. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot:1:1000-2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
