Weitere Details:: Staphylococcal enterotoxins represent a group of proteins, which are secreted by Staphylococcus aureus and cause staphylococcal food poisoning syndrome. The illness is characterised by high fever, hypotension, diarrhea, shock, and in some cases death. Their molecular masses range between 27-30kD. At present, seven enterotoxins are known, namely A, B, C1, C2, C3, D and E. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
