RIP140 is a ligand-dependent co-repressor for most nuclear receptors and functions through interaction with their AF2 activation domains. RIP140 modulates transcriptional activation by steroid receptors and transcriptional repression by nuclear hormone receptors. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunocytochemistry, ChIP. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 Ag.14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
