Histone deacetylation plays a role in epigenetic repression and transcriptional regulation, and cell cycle progression. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry, ChIP. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:4000. Detects a band of ~57kD (predicted molecular weight: 55kD). Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
