- Recognizes the equine CD5 antigen, a single-pass type I membrane protein with a molecular weight of ~69kD. Equine CD5 is expressed on the majority of T-lymphocytes, in addition is has been reported that equine CD5 may also be detected at very low levels on B-cells and granulocyctes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:200, use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry: frozen Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
