- Specific for canine homologue of CD34, a glycosylated type 1 transmembrane protein of ~110kD (McSweeney et al. 1998) expressed on the cell suface of endothelial cells and haematopoietic stem cells. Key marker of canine hematopoietic progenitor cells. Reported for use in CD34+ enrichment studies, (Goerner, M. et al. 2001) and (Horn, P. et al. 2004). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
