Weitere Details:: SMAC/Diablo is one of the proapoptotic proteins. SMAC promotes caspase activation in the cytochrome c/Apaf-1/caspase-9 pathway by binding to inhibitor of apoptosis proteins (IAPs) and removing their inhibitory activity. In healthy cells, SMAC is a mitochondrial protein, but when cells undergo apoptosis, SMAC is released into the cytosol. SMAC is ubiquitously expressed with highest expression in testis. Expression is also high in heart, liver, kidney, spleen, prostate and ovary. Low in brain, lung, thymus and peripheral blood leukocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
