The RBM gene family encodes proteins with an RNA binding motif that have been suggested to play a role in the modulation of apoptosis. RBM11 is a 281aa nuclear protein that contains one RNA recognition motif. RBM11 exists as two isoforms produced by alternative splicing and is expressed in testis, kidney, spleen, brain, spinal cord and mammary gland. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
