Among its related super-pathways are adenosine nucleotides degradation II and Pyrimidine metabolism. Specifically it hydrolyzes 7-methylguanosine monophosphate (m(7)GMP) to 7-methylguanosine and inorganic phosphate. The specific activity for m(7)GMP may protect cells against undesired salvage of m(7)GMP and its incorporation into nucleic acids. Also it has weak activity for CMP. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-300 from human NT5C3B, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~36.8kD (323aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
