Weitere Details:: ELAVL2 is a neural-specific RNA-binding protein that is known to bind to several 3' uTRs, including its own and also that of FOS and ID. This protein may recognize a GAAA motif in the RNA. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene. Molecular Weight: ~40.4kD (369aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
