Weitere Details:: As part of the MLL1/MLL complex, DPY30 is involved in the methylation of histone H3 at 'Lys-4', particularly trimethylation. Histone H3 'Lys-4' methylation represents a specific tag for epigenetic transcriptional activation. This protein may play some role in histone H3 acetylation. In a teratocarcinoma cell, it plays a crucial role in retinoic acid-induced differentiation along the neural lineage, regulating gene induction and H3 'Lys-4' methylation at key developmental loci. DPY30 may also play an indirect or direct role in endosomal transport. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-99 from human DPY30, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~13.6kD (122aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
