Weitere Details:: Cytochrome c oxidase assembly factor 4 homolog, mitochondrial, also known as COA4, is the last enzyme of the mitochondrial respiratory chain, is a very complicated process and requires the assistance of a large number of accessory factors. It is essential for oxidative phosphorylation and comprises multiple complexes, including cytochrome c oxidase, assembled in macromolecular supercomplexes. Defects in COX4 assembly alter cellular respiration and produce severe human encephalomyopathies. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-87 from human COA4, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~12.5kD (110aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
