- Presenilin-2 (PSEN2) is a multi-pass membrane protein and component of the gamma-secretase complex. Defects in PSEN2 are a cause of Alzheimer disease type 4 (AD4), an autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease. (Ref:SWISS-Prot). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
