Weitere Details:: Limitin is a secreted interferon (IFN)-like glycoprotein. It has antiviral activity and selectively inhibits B-lineage lymphoid-cell development both in vivo and in vitro, while having little effect on myelopoiesis or erythropoiesis. Limitin binds to the IFN-alpha/beta receptors and induces IFN regulatory factor-1. Mouse limitin displays 32%, 26% and 30% amino acid sequence identity with mouse IFN-alpha, mouse IFN-beta, and human IFN-omega, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
