- Epo R is a transmembrane protein expressed on the surface of megakaryocytes, erythroid progenitors, and endothelial cells. It binds Epo and transmits signals that stimulate the proliferation and maturation of bone marrow erythroid precursors into red cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-2000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-300 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
