Weitere Details:: Type E hepatitis virus (HEV) is transmitted through fecal-oral route. In developing country with hot climate, HEV outbreak is common with a high mortality in pregnant woman. The virus has a 7.6kb positive sense single strained RNA genome enclosed in a capsid without envelope. There are three open reading frames (ORFs) on HEV genome. ORF1 encodes protease, methyl-transferase, helicase and replicase. ORF2 encodes capsid protein. The function of the protein encoded by ORF3 is undefined. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
