Weitere Details:: Neurofilaments are composed of three intermediate filament proteins: light (~68kD), medium (~160kD) and heavy (~200kD), which are involved in the maintenance of the neuronal caliber. Neurofilament light (NF68 or NF-L) is the most abundant of the three proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:10,000-1:20,000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
