Weitere Details:: Galectin 3 is a lectin with carbohydrate recognition domains (CRD) which bind -galactoside. It is a multifunctional protein expressed both on the cell surface, cytoplasm and nucleus and appears to have roles in specific carbohydrate binding and in the regulation of mRNA splicing. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:10,000 Immunohistochemistry (IF): 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
