- CD8 was clustered as Canine CD8 in the First Canine Leukocyte Antigen Workshop (Cobbold et al. 1994). Reacts with a rat cell line transfected with cDNA for canine CD8a (Gorman et al. 1994) and blocks MHC class I dependant T-cell responses in vitro and in vivo. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100. Use 10ul to label 1x10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
