- MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. This MAb recognizes cytokeratin 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 13, and 18. This is a broad-spectrum antibody which has been reported to differentiate epithelial tumors from non-epithelial tumors. Many studies have shown the usefulness of keratins as markers in cancer research and tumor diagnosis. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.5-1ug/million cells Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1.0ug/ml Western Blot: 0.5-1.0ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Frozen & Formalin-fixed): 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 min at RT (Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes) Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined. Positive Control: A431 cells, Skin, Colon carcinoma Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
