Weitere Details:: This monoclonal antibody is reactive with human carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), a tumor associated antigen with oncofetal characteristics. Although CEA can be found in tissues of non-neoplastic diseases and normal epithelia, it occurs also in a large variety of carcinomas. Therefore, immunohistochemical detection of CEA is frequently used for the histopathological diagnosis of human tumors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:100-1:500 Immunohistochemistry (frozen, paraffin): 1:25-1:100 dilution for immunohistochemistry with avidin-biotinylated horseradish peroxidase complex (ABC) as detection reagent. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 AG14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
