It was originally described as a 27-kD protein induced by vitamin D in the duodenum of the chick. Parmentier et al. (1991) mapped the CALB1 gene to 8q21.3-q22.1 by in situ hybridization. UniProt Number: Human(P05937), Mouse(P12658), Rat(P07171) Gene ID: CALB1 Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin). Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Handling: Store at -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, store at 4˚C for one month. Can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20˚C for long term. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
