Weitere Details:: A novel, nonhemolytic antimicrobial peptide (human beta-defensin-3, hBD-3) was isolated from human lesional psoriatic scales and cloned from keratinocytes. hBD-3 demonstrated a salt-insensitive broad spectrum of potent antimicrobial activity against many potentially pathogenic microbes including multiresistant S. aureus and vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunodiffusion and ODD. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 100ul antiserum/5ul Serum (50mg/l Beta 2M) Immunodiffusion: 6ul antiserum/cm e2 in gel/5ul Serum (50mg/l Beta 2M) ODD: 10ul antiserum/5ul Serum (50mg/l Beta 2M) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
