Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000. This gene encodes for a Connexin 32 protein. A large Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease family has been identified with a novel mutation in the Cx32 P2 promoter region at position -526bp. Cx32 mutants that are associated with a CNS phenotype may have toxic effects in oligodendrocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 2.5ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 4-8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
